Moon Rocks

Flanking Grandfather Mountains’ southeast side is one of North Carolina’s little treasures, Moon Rocks. Not a tall cliff, most routes only cover about 50', but in that short distance your sure to fight a fierce battle of balance, power and compression. A few older Doug Reed and co. routes existed when my good buddy Cogie Reed first walked me the minute and a half it takes to approach the wall from the parking lot, now the crag has around 35 quality routes. If you climb around Boone and like trying hard gear routes check this place out!
I just wanted to share a few pics and a video http://www.deadpointmag.com/videos/watch/dpm-project-series-pat-goodman from the small crag I spend a huge amount of time at.
